Choose a service and a coverage area
If you provide industrial maintenance in Monterrey, the campaign should reflect that service and the area you can cover. Mixing domestic repairs, spare parts and business contracts in one offer makes both the advertisement and the assessment of incoming requests more difficult.
Write a short list of priority services, municipalities covered and the minimum information needed for a quotation. Add the work you do not accept. This definition helps organise search terms, write the landing page and enable reception staff to recognise a suitable opportunity.
Group searches by the person's actual need
Distinguish someone looking to hire from someone seeking employment, training or instructions to do the work themselves. Not every search containing your service name has commercial intent. Review the actual terms that trigger your advertisements and assess whether they match the offer.
Exclusions can start with needs you do not serve, but review them carefully to avoid blocking useful searches. Expanding the area merely to generate traffic makes little sense if the team cannot travel there or fulfil the promise outside its coverage.
Continue the advertisement's promise on the page
The destination page should explain the work, coverage, quotation process and contact options. Use your own photographs when available and avoid directing every search to a generic homepage. Someone looking for maintenance needs to confirm that you can perform that particular work.
Identify published indicative prices as MXN and explain what each amount includes. If a visit or technical information is required, describe that step. A short form asking for the service, municipality and a description is often more useful than an open request without context.
Measure contacts and sales as separate actions
Google supports different conversion actions, including website actions, phone calls and offline results. The configuration should reflect your operation. A click that opens WhatsApp indicates an intention to contact you; it does not prove that a message was sent or a quotation accepted.
Document what each event represents and test it before interpreting reports. In the sales record, distinguish a received contact, a qualified request, a quotation and a sale. This avoids giving an informational visit the same value as work actually contracted.
Coordinate advertising with the people who respond
Attracting an urgent request is of limited use if nobody responds during the advertised hours. Decide who receives enquiries, how they are assigned and what information is needed for the next step. For messages outside opening hours, explain when a response can be expected.
Prepare a helpful questioning framework without turning it into an interrogation: equipment type, location and main need, for example. Retain the campaign reference when available so you can understand which requests become jobs and which are lost for operational reasons.
Review quality before increasing spend
Compare spend with qualified requests and commercial progress. Compare services and areas with similar conditions. One campaign may attract cheap enquiries outside your coverage, while another produces fewer contacts but more jobs the team can actually perform.
Increase the budget when you understand that difference and have response capacity. Keep a record of changes rather than modifying coverage, page and messages without understanding their effects. The goal is to learn how to attract demand you can serve repeatedly.
